Sunday, I had the pleasure of seeing IL TEATRO alla MODA (Theater in Fashion) in Beverly Hills and was given the privilege of photographing it. The dresses were absolutely incredible! I felt like I had died and gone to fashion heaven. The exhibition showcased Italy’s famous haute couture designers and their impact on the stages of opera, dance and theater. The event is celebrates the transformation of The Italian Renaissance Beverly Hills Post Office into the Annenberg Center for The Performing Arts. It was an amazing and unforgettable afternoon. These are some of the most fabulous!

The exhibit runs through March 18th before heading off to The Villa Manin in Venice, Italy July 20th-Nov 4th 2012. It is a must see for any lover of fashion and the performing arts!
It’s always interesting to look at, my I have difficulty imaging these designs in practical use…but I guess that is why they call it haute couture.

Yes, I am a fan of all things Alexander McQueen! It’s so sad that he took his life. He was too young and too talented to leave us! I’m happy his design legacy is living on.
I guess practical being on a stage!
Breathtaking! Thank you for sharing- a wonderful dose of culture and color for those of us who can’t be there. I love you!
Your welcome BF! I wish you had been here to go with me! Love and miss you!
Third time to check out these incredible garments. I don’t really care if they are practical. They truly are “eye candy.” My favorites are the orange dresses. Beautiful.
