Being a long time Beastie Boys fan, I had to check out the art show at The Geffen Contemporary At Moca now through this Sunday the 6th. It is curated by Mike D (congrats to the Beastie Boys for their recent induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame) and features 16 artists, bands, food, a coffee bar and more and admission is FREE! I would also recommend checking out the exhibit by Cai Guo-Qiang in the same building. Crop circles, gun powder and explosions. Amazing stuff!

Outside of Moca

The show is sponsored by Mercedes-Benz. Our friends Mark & Silvia with Wade, keeping it real.

A set of cards featuring each of the artists was given to us at the door.

If you are looking for something to do this weekend I would highly recommend checking out the exhibits and festivities at The Geffen Contemporary 152 N Central Ave. LA CA 90012.

*This is an add on to this post. I just found out that Adam Yauch, the founding member of The Beastie Boys passed away this morning at age 47 after battling cancer for the last 3 years. May he rest in peace.
