The Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit at the de Young Museum in San Francisco is absolutely amazing and mind blowing!!! It’s a must see for anyone who appreciates fashion, art and technology! Here are a few of my favorites…(they were all my favorites) but I HAD to narrow it down! Enjoy!
When we entered the first room, there were mannequins blinking, talking, smiling and interacting with the audience. Projectors were used to animate the faces of the mannequins creating a surreal, yet lifelike quality that engages the viewer. It was freaky! They even had a JPG mannequin that was welcoming everyone to the show!
Lady Gaga would look amazing in this!
Now thats a hat I’d wear to a Royal Wedding or the Kentucky Derby!
I would of loved this for my senior prom!
This dress totally reminds me of my mom! If her and my dad ever renew their vows…
My favorite part about this is the human heart purse!
JPG designed Madonna’s iconic cone bra collection.
I saw Madonna in concert wearing/doing this and I’m not sure which I love more…
This “nude” dress is fabulous. I would wear it to a formal event with a huge diamond necklace!
This is definitely something I would wear to walk the beach in the south of France.
I love the nod to the 80′s with the aqua net graphic.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this portrait! The kitchiness makes my heart smile.
