who shot rock & roll

Tina Turner by Henry Diltz.

Mick Jagger!! Yes, really! by Albert Watson.

Blondie by Godlis.

Bjork by Laura Levine.

Morrissey by Kevin Cummins.

The Cramps by Ebet Roberts.

The Annenberg Space for Photography never disappoints! The current exhibit Who Shot Rock & Roll is an incredible photographic journey of rock images from 1955 to the present. These are a just a few of my favorites (above) but there were so many more! Part of the show is a fantastic video that gives you a behind the scenes look into the lives of the photographers and what was going on at the time when they were taking the pictures. It is a great rock and roll history lesson. I learned so much! If you love music and photography you don’t want to miss this! It run through October 7th in LA! (If you won’t be in LA between now and then, they are selling a book of the show for $40…maybe you can order one?!)
